had napfa today. And I failed one section. I feel so unfit this year.. I miss my Golds from Psch ):
im feelin so bored and sleepy now.. today is carnival day and right now we're having a sort of break.. in lib blogging. tired..
Firstly.. this amazing book is going for $9.95 at Kinokuniya!
I did 27 situps, probably because I tried to follow Ms tay's instructions diligently: "shoulders must touch the mat!" Usually sit-ups were my guaranteed A(30+) but I deproved to a C.
Improved my Sit and Reach I think. Been practising regularly ma.. 39cm. But the people around me got 40+ (without practice I think) and Cera got 50!
Shuttle run was 11.6 .. slow reaction. probably laughed too much.
Standing broad jump was 154cm! Worst ever! I used to get 160cm.. Oh my. I think the "start up shake forward backward" thingy doesn't help at all. I just don't seem to feel the push leh.. maybe I'm doing it wrong.. must jump regularly.
Inclined pull up was horrible. I got a 2. (I think I should get 0 but mdm lee just gave it to me la..) Improved from last yr's one. But this was a FAIL grade.. cause the guidelines changed. To pass one must do 3 pull ups (E grade) .. ahh so think I have to retake. kun was like so depressed after her jump tsk..
I think my lower body is too heavy and my arms are too weak to support the weight :X
2.4km was 16m16s.
I wanna be fit and healthy!! Mrs Kong says being fit will help in studies too.. Is this an indication that my academics are declining in standard?? CHOY! -slaps mouth- jiayou keep fit!! ha ha hoo! ha ha hoo!

shall blog abt ytd's compclub farewell.
not all sec4 turned up. cew had to get flowers 4 her frens or sth.. and yiying said it was 'gay' so they did not come. our 'gang of five' became 'gang of three' like sheng jie said.. we ate some beehoon and stuf. even chairman diyana was also not there! everybody jus sat with their own frens and ate their own food silently (act. not really la.. jus tok with their own frens lor) .. then there was cake cutting and sheng went to cut the cake! like cutting the ribbon for those 新开张 shops.. it was a chocolate cake and greedy me ate 2 slices!! I got the precious milk choco ball??
halfway while we were eating .. suddenly in a flash everybody left. there was a mountain of beehoon still in the trays. so the 3 of us (sheng, sab, me) went to help a sec3 girl and carol pack all the beehoon into packets.. till they were bulging. I took a packet home too; carol got 4. HAHA
then we went to complab and watched youtube. sab showed me shinhwahwa acting gay. hahaa..
yep that's all. oh our souvenirs are purses / hp covers.. i got a blue striped purse.. and inside there was a note! it was a webpage! dedicated to me.. i tink each junior has been assigned a senior each.. mine was quite encouraging. "i blieve u hav the potential to do well in olvl.." 讲到有点熟的样子但我都不知道是谁送的。。。

TODAY:
watched debate. 4e9 vs 4e1 and the former won.. and they quoted alot of lines from shakespeare like "nothing that is so, is so".. gosh mrs hoe looked very happy..
the stalls at carnival were rather cool. the sec1s were enthu and outgoing! some unique items sold were "veg sticks" and "prata in a cup".. most people were doing the same old things like fruits in chocolate, beehoon, cookies cookies more cookies.. and brownies.
the elderly arrived and we played bingo (many languages.. chn,hokkien...).. there was an old woman i "paired up with" and she won the first bingo game! but somehow she seems rather bored and sad... i also dunno what to say to her ): sigh. she says she speaks hakka. when i asked her what she wanted to drink, she said "奶" but we didn't buy it for her .. also dont know what kind of milk she wants.. so we bought milo for them.
some old people are quite enthu; willing to try everything and dance along too.. the old lady i mentioned didnt take the milo and drank her own bottled water instead. think she's quite well-educated too. she caught on the game of bingo pretty well.
mel and ferena were entertaining them.. dancing and singing. very on.
now the rest of the sch population are downstairs watching some stuff.. screaming their hearts out. only the antisocial and sleepy me with heavy eyelids headed for complab with kun. a few other souls here too.

And Kino imported Scholastic and Bloomsbury version of Hogwarts Library school books (which I was so devastated to find they were not there then after a few days when i last saw them in 2005) !! Never inform me.. haha but nvm i dont really like calls either..

My oral was on Thurs. I was the first cos Iwas the time keeper! Teacher was Mrs Thong.. and to think the topic Kd was joking about actually came up!!!
But it was not "What do you think about snakes?" "I think they are long."
It was "Do you like snakes?" "Have you touched a snake before?" "If you are a primary school teacher, what would you teach about snakes?" "Do you take biology?" "Do you think a tcher shld bring a real snake to class?" "Would you bring a real snake to class...?" and more and more..
And I really got nth to say. I wanted to say 'ok la' but it would be like sitting on the fence. Shld have said sth more professional like 'my feelings towards them are neutral.." yag was gg on loudly about her liking snakes ever since she read harrypotter.. voldemort's pet was nagini (sp?)... gosh and mrs thong looked interested during convos with my other classmates (i was spying through the window).. she leaned back for mine la! a clear sign of disinterest.
oh and seemed like everyone got different qns, non-snake ones.. some got qns abt their interests.. life or whatever (i cld hear dhuha talking loudly abt having fun in life...) like v enthusiastic and agitated.. haha yag's was also v loud. kun's was on dance?! and yag told the story of the origin to her name tirelessly for eleven times to eleven diff ppl, i tink. hahah. yep i counted :D
and mrs thong said i was too nervous and it affected my performance. the component of oral i was most ok with ie. reading, also came under fire. she said i read too fast. n i tink i caught a glimpse of my marks. not sure whether it was a 13. (if it's 13/20, it will translate to 65%, B3 which is average la.. ) I can already foresee many people getting A1...)
