kk my sis bought ... *drumroll* INCOMPARABLE CONCERT CD!! woohoo!!~ It's the first day of release sommore (act tink it's 20th, but 21st in stores :D ) .. diao hor. (: and we got a complimentary GIANT (i mean it's really CHAO big) poster of the cover too.. it's actually a calender. but when we unrolled the poster, all we cld see was jus the big face of jay, his mike, body... then tucked away at the v end, 12 months squeezed together. LOL. well, all the better. =p=p

nice hor? warner distributing now. i tink incomparable concert cd is really worth the $$! cos there are like two cds inside (can hear preview here in MUSICFEVER ) PLUS 7lx's MVs! gosh am i glad to be back here. i've been wanting to blog so much but there are so many things in my way that i couldn't find the time to do so.
and now.. i've only finished my jianbao. which is supposed to b passed up on thurs. yar so cant blog alot.
abit on obs.
first day
first to arrive. then played some trust+fall games. i managed to hit the bell! (: then we learnt some rockclimbing basics la. like how to belay, climb, wear the harness etc.
2nd day
the kayaking was really v tiring. my arms were chao suan1 and i was feeling chao irritated.. and kun and i were going so slowly that even a snail wld have been proud that we kept bringing up the rear. -.- can see kd along the way, she belonged to nila (nina or nila?) utama, marco polo's buddy grp. (: hmm and yeah the 2nd day, 18th jan was jay's birthday!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIE LUN! 26 year old liao!
I sang a birthday song to jay on that s yellow banana kayak boat until kun asked me to shut up keep quiet. :D bwahaha.

After gobbling down our breakfasts, my watch Marco Polo (MP) was positively beaming with anticipation at what we were going to try today - kayaking in the sea!
After we had equipped ourselves with life vests and faithfully applied sun block on our skins (which has become a daily routine due to the blistering heat), we were ready to conquer the deep blue waters, peaceful and shimmering in the morning light.
Firstly, all of us were forced to capsize in our long banana-yellow kayaks and emerge again, victorious. I fell headfirst into the sea, gulped in some salty sea water, and then struggled violently to get up again. I was scared as I did not know how to swim. I was also afraid of drowning, even though it was not very likely since I had the aid of my orange life vests, which enabled me to bob up successfully, coughing all the while.
Next, we had to kayak to a float somewhere in the distance and then back again. I paired up with Kun Hui and whoosh, off we went! It was my first time kayaking in the sea, so I felt it was really exciting and fun!
After rowing with some difficulty, we managed to reach the float. Then Kun Hui and I tried to row back but somehow, we found ourselves going round and round in circles. I was very amused and started laughing uncontrollably. Many boats passed by as we tried our best to steer our kayaks in the correct direction… and yes, we did it - finally!
We went back for a simple lunch with our buddy watch, Nina Utama (NU). Next up is a very tough mission which only the bravest of hearts, strongest of bodies and the most determined of minds can accomplish (okay I’m exaggerating). We had to kayak for SIX hours straight to reach our next campsite before it gets dark. No kidding.
We also need to overcome two ‘obstacles’, which was a road and a bund (a mud wall). NU and MP will have to work together to get to our common destination, which was very far away.
Kun and I rowed with all our might. Strangely enough, both of us were always bringing up the rear. We kept rowing, moving in a synchronized manner with our oars, with the chant ‘Left - right - left - right…’ occasionally ringing in our ears. I had underestimated the distance greatly; the only motivation that kept me surging forward was that I would reach our campsite soon and my poor arms would not be tortured anymore. The way was long, hot and very exhausting…)): It did not help that my arms were sore. Even though there were huge mangrove trees along the way to admire, I was too tired to do so. I was leaning back in my kayak as the sweltering heat continued to induce thirst. To make it worse, my oar was feeling very heavy in my hands, becoming an annoying burden. Vulgarities escaped from my mouth involuntarily. Kun and I grumbled, complained, and sometimes blamed each other when we needed to change direction. “NO - right forward … you go left - LEFT!”
The waters turned choppier towards the end of the journey. Miraculously, despite our extreme fatigue and overworked muscles, we managed to reach our campsite, with many thanks to Joanne’s and Chermaine’s continuous encouragement!!! I was ecstatic and at the same time, very proud of myself for completing this ‘mission’!
We were feeling dirty, muddy, sticky and uncomfortable. To top it all, I found that I was homesick and missed my family very much. It’s during times like this when we learn to appreciate the luxury of having a soft bouncy bed to leap into and a clean shower to look forward to when we get home. There were no toilets here. ): We had to answer Nature’s calls in the bushes or sea, which I found rather disgusting. I did not even have the mood to eat dinner.
Plus, we found out that our tent, which was nearly collapsing, was pitched on top of an ant nest! (the tent was sorta collapsing on us, half the time we were sleepin w/ the tent on our faces. booo) It was too dark to undo the mistake and we should have checked beforehand. Grr, just how unlucky can one get?

3rd day
I woke up automatically in the morning as I had not slept well (not well at all definitely) the previous night, with ants crawling in from outside to bite me. I became their natural target since I was sleeping closest to the entrance of the tent, shared with four other watch mates.
It certainly is true to never judge a book by its cover - it turned out that although the ants were small in size, they can deliver big, nasty and painful bites. In fact, I even found ants amidst my thick crop of hair last night! How disgusting… (evil ants :X)
Anyway, I hurried out of the tent the moment I woke up. No way was I going to spend more time with those vicious creatures.
The horror did not end here. When I got out, everyone was jumping around, yelling and crying that there were ants in their bags, shoes and some, unfortunately, even beneath their clothes. Some were stomping madly on the ground, killing any ants they saw. My bag did not escape the attack of the ants either. Hurriedly, all of us took out our insect repellents and started spraying fervently to get rid of the annoying ants. It was a terrible case of Red Ants Versus Sleepy Humans. Although it did not kill them, at least it made them dizzy. Shoo, you ants! Go back to your nests and don’t bother us! Somehow, the intelligent ants had even managed to climb into the food we had brought along! (i was sniffin' with tears the prev night because of my moodiness, dirtiness, frustratedness and the final straw came when my torch was lost! ):< )My mood was only visibly lifted when Geraldine told me she had found my lost torchlight.
After a long time of continuous attempts to sweep away the ants, we were finally ready to start on our land expedition. Lois told us we were going to hike for about two hours today to reach back to our old campsite. We un-pitched our tents, placed our extremely heavy, fat and not to forget, ant-infested, backpacks upon our tired shoulders (still sore from yesterday’s kayaking) and before long, were soon on our way.
The path we walked through was filled with green leafy trees. We had to source for codes which will enable us to get into our campsite when we reach there. Along the way, we even found a gravestone! Creepy. Lois also introduced us to the many types of plants living there, like the snake plant and the skeleton leaves.
As usual, I was feeling moody as besides carrying my backbone-breaking backpack, another heavy load - the tent pack - had to be added to my burden. (haversacks plus tent packs CAN kill.. ok maybe not =p im still here, aint i?)I was grumbling and cursing most of the way to express my discontent. Ahead of me, there were others who were carrying the same amount of weight as me, if not more. So I thought to myself, “If others could do it, why couldn’t I?”
With this motivation, I continued to trek. Slowly, we began inching closer to our destination and finally, we were there! I was filled with a sense of exuberance and pride (really v jiao1 ao4 of myself! ((: ) that I had managed to carry the heavy things ALONE for two hours! And... At last, back to civilization - a place with toilets!
Our next activity was Flying Fox. I had tried this in a P5 camp, but I wasn’t sure whether I had developed a fear of heights since. But it turned out fine, as I managed to muster enough courage to climb to the top of the ladder, and then go ‘swoosh’ down again. The climbing up was the scary part. (when i look down, i've gone a long way, when i looked up.. AND still a long way!) But I was glad I had completed the activity, all the same.
Today was our last dinner together, so we prepared a feast which consisted of nearly everything we had - tuna, instant noodles, sardines, rice (which was well-cooked this time), baked beans, Campbell soup etc. It was the fullest meal (thanks NU for ur orange juice!! yummmm) I had in my time here!
The good news is it’s ‘Home Sweet Home’ for me tomorrow. I look forward to 20th Jan!
4th day
its the last day! yay! highlight was the rockclimbing part. it is definitely a diff thing to b standing down there, happily advising the climber where to place her next step when u finally xperience it urself when climbing up.
its really so difficult to climb lor!! but finally aft a lot of shouting + encouragement from sijia, hweeling, kun .. finally i manged to heave myself up.
and no way was i goin up further. nxt is coming down.
suddenly it seemed v high?! and i was feelin scared. so delayed evryone when coming there. i was stuck when going up and coming down too. -.-""
when jay finally saved me i finally mustered enuf courage to go down, i swung twice to the other side before coming dwn successfully. -.- i tink i alone took up about an hour! SORRY PEOPLE!
then it was HOME SWEET HOME! hip hip hurray!!!! :D:D:D:D

I've got a sun-burnt head, info thanks to feli, and suddenly got like bites on my hands/legs. mum said it was from the sandflies. yeah. )): ( and ms tee was telling us the mosquitoes loved her so much she'd recieved love bites from there. =] )

today's the first day of sch. usually on the first day of school, i'd feel quite excited.. but today was like okay only. :\ er then rushed to sch. and met up with s/n. carol and me finally tied up our birdnest heads. :O sherlene was like chao shocked: "sj got long hair already ah?" :O:O haha so funny then charmaine also commented. lol.
hmm i think today is quite oka lar. my class is really noisy, as compared to the quite-quiet bunch of 2e5ivers. = hmm i prolly miss my nerdysteady clique..
when my tcher read out the name 'sijia' today, i thot she pronounced MY name wrongly. so i actually went to correct her. and it turned out tt there was really a 'sijia' in my class and she's in front of me in the register. -.-"" and our names are TOTALLY ALIKE except the last letter. ;)
oh then we played some games. like whacko. and punished the ppl who got called twice by makin' em do forfeits. dhuha dis a chicken dance in front of another class (when i went out it was already over), er and genius chermaine twirled from 3/1 to 3.7 i think. lol. and last but not least, singin sch song in e whole lvl, chao mad lor. made so much noise. :D
but they really v fun loving lar. same clas w/ hannah, psch mate, .. dhuha (kuns tuition mate), almaas.. all v frenly+outspoken la. v lively.
hmm bak to sch days. chn with 3e1. not bad. on firz flr only. cool ah. :)
currently can only play comp on wkends. sian. i better b more hardworking this year and get my obs supplies soon.

my fm, ms tee, is new to e sch. at firs i thot she is quite scary cos she like nv smile one.. then i saw her smile or giv a little grin today so feel she's quite ok le.. haha. hai tmr hafta take attendance.............. :/
hope my mood improves. -.- hmm i feel tt im going to know more than a 100 ppl this yr. jus a rough estimation. cos i need to switch classes so many times.. first are the 40 3e5 ppl, then chn class + lit class..
btw i listed granduer de D major as one of my fav books durin the lit 'survey' today. =p haha support! anw heard frm kd tt sam's tcher is a jay fan..? wl so cool!! so diao!! ((:

hmm was thinkin abt a theory today.. if u r the only one in clas [as in u do nt hav frens frm ur prev clas] u might make new frens faster. cos u will 主动 and take initiative to speak to others.. like i did to zoom-head kd+jingchun =p & kun + feli who didnt like me at first sight.. oh and amelia too.
like nw im w/ kun.. we always stick tog. dun really much socialise w/ others. whereas if u r alone.. u'll speak up to gain more frens..
i feel like i m writing a confusing n informal argumentativ essay: do u make friends more easily when u r alone? -.-

Jan 6 FOURTH DAY [0740pm]
loads hw today. nv blog yest. yest decided clas motto. hmm actualli thot tt '5ivers r rawkers' not bad.. but 'genius' said it sounds like '5ivers r hawkers' lol.. and i tink her statement affected the votes badly. lol. then his ms saffiah's voice v loud, boomed thoughout the whole class.. somemore i find tt she's also quite funny.. hahah :D
we needa pe jounal? and runnin up to the 4th lvl and touchin that round window thrice is tiring. bleah.
feli sick today. mucus went wrong way? haha.
lookin forward to blog on wkend. yay!

my ht increased dramatically tremendously -- 166cm! w00t. v proud. but suspectin if there is a mistake or waht. hope not. hahah.
and my weight... 57kg?! at first. am i fat or what. then another digital machine said 53.5 kg? vast difference. anw i took the 2nd readin and convinced myself i lost 1.5 kg in the hols. yeah. 继续减肥 and save for jay fund. ((: but alas i tink my current savings needa b used for those d obs supplies. BLURRGH!!! >:(
plus i'll be celeberating jay's birthday inside a tent singing a bdae song to the sandflies on jan 18. -.- eewww. >.< 10 pm

why cant things be divided by 0 but 0 can be divided by something else?
lets see. if u got 3 smelly socks and u r asked to give it to 0 people = nobody, wouldnt u have 3 socks left? why suddenly all disappear? 3/0 = error?!
hmm and when u hav no smelly socks to giv away to let say 3 people, u shld oso hav 0 socks in the beginning. 0/3 = 0 well at least this makes sense.
