Ok this week i experimented tying up my since-b4cny-till-now-haven-cut hair.
mon: tied; clipped up a pong side fringe
tues: normal; let down
wed: tied; free fringe
thurs: tied; clipped up center-parting fringe
fri: tied; clipped up fringe. let down sides.
apparently they all look strange ): i think it's my frizzy and pong fringe. most of the comments i got are "weird". clara was gg: "EEE~What you do to your hair?" jiaying actually said my ponytail was nice but ytd she said my fringe like vaccum cleaner ): fawn said my hair like 大长今. kd said she'll help me style my hair. yy says sideview nice front view weird. sab says shld grow longer.
k the hairdresser says the growing part [esp till neck area] is the most difficult one. after i pass through this stage will be ok.

Yesterday we had Mental Reselience workshop. i think the talk was rather interesting (the instructor mr teo is quite funny but too bad he left for china ytd)but kd kept shaking leg.. they have some really interesting videos [i seriously dunno how serene managed to find the driving video on youtube- sb go ask sheng jie see]. self defense was fun. vanessa so cool la, break all the boards effortlessly.
but i felt rather weak. went hm and asked mum to choke me. my job was to use both my hands to pull hers down and then swerve and go down 45degrees, in an attempt to shake her off. sounds easy but it so is not. i cldnt 甩mum down successfully only thrash about wildly laughing. really need more practice. i think the bad guys outside surely stronger one lor :\ but choy. mus go learn karate. ARR CHAR!!

Went mac at singpost with kun and sab today. such a fat gaining experience but sab insisted on eating fastfood. the service was pretty good, cos the cashier (?) was kinda patient. she sort of got our orders wrong/mixed up so kun and i kept repeating to her. i was afraid she'll get irritated (some ppl do) but she didn't! and after that i went back to get curry+chilli sauce and she was still quite friendly. So sab and I went to give her the G.E.Ms card! The good service goes the extra mile thingy.. haha my idea of course :D but sab was saying i made her so PAISEH :|

I am seriously supposed to study for chem and finish up my mount everest (no i don take geog) holiday hw but alas.. im here.
SINGAPORE POLY WORKSHOP
On 13th March, Kun and I trooped to school which hired a bus to take us to Singapore Poly. There a lecturer met us. And led us to this place to have 'buffet breakfast'. Very nice right!! Especially the lovable egg tarts; really very yummy. There was also beehoon, small dao sa buns, sandwiches, and some other 料 to 配米粉. Delectable way to start the day.
Then the students split themselves into two groups. We went to this room to start making our paperweights. Yep chemistry for everyday life. We are supposedly doing organic chemistry (some future chapter we'll be touching on soon). Yep and I can't really understand the verbal instructions given by the Doctor. So kept bugging Kun,Jose and Mel. heh. I think I'm not the Kinesthetic learner or whatever (whom jose says she is).. ok nvm. Yep then we weighed out the polymer, sprayed chem lease on the beaker and started to work.
Did not bring any decorative materials as I didn't know we were going to the paperweight workshop today! So it was something of a two-in-one workshop for me, actually more than that if you count the food blah.
Yep but the nice people provided materials, so set down to work.. arranged everything nicely, the red beans, sea shells, plants flowers whatever. Kun's one was uber simple, just some macoroni letters spelling her name plus plants for border. So I was very afraid mine would turn out messy and ugly but it didn't cause I like it quite alot!!! yeah! Oh and the reaction was really exothermic (the beaker was really like boiling HOT when we were waiting for the polymer to harden..)
Yep then we got our masterpiece before the day ended. After that, we went for the fragrance workshop, make our, I mean, my FIRST PERFUME!! cool right.. we learnt something about the top, middle and base notes of perfume.. blah. Then on to the practical. Had to mix some chemicals the lecturer/teacher/doctor already prepared for us. Then we got to add our own personal touch by putting in whatever essences we like (2 drops only la) Since it was only a mere 2 drops, the lect assured us even if what we chosen didn't quite agree with each other, the product would still be nice-smelling becos of the basic formula. Very fun. We only added a LITTLE LITTLE bit of chemical, then put in 60ml of alcohol isit? Then kun and me split half-half and pour into our own bottles (provided by them).
Then I went around smelling and sniffing like a dog for the best scents. I think most for some reason smelt rather smelly. weird. even my fav rose disappointed me greatly. it didnt smell like e rose gee gave me can. so different!! And i thot lavender is supposed to have a really lovely smell.. but turns out soso only la. Ginger surprisingly was quite bearable (for me at least).. So I added a drop of it. Then the lect kept saying what ginger and the spices for housewives.. -.- Yep and lavender too (copy kun HHA).

COMP CLUB CAMP
16th+17th March [thurs, fri. 9-5pm]
Yep went school for camp. e last time we had a camp was in sec 2.. it was overnight but this one wasn't. i am in the games commitee, so sheng, sab and i came up with (altho the other went net search for many games which later had to be editted by sab and me cos we found they couldnt really work or were jus too lame) and prepared the friggin games which took up my entire week and made me feel stressed out. lucky my hair stil thick and black -.-""
ya anyway we did the games. on thurs met comp clubbers. an extra 18 or so turned up cos one of the junior lc's did not give the consent form or watever.. so quite 混乱. anyway sab, cew and me hurried to make more clues for treasure hunt.
sab and i were i/c of hosting the games.. but we didn't really do it quite well. haha anyway diyana and ying2 took over for the rest of the two days. then cew, jocelyn n i participated when necessary. so we were like discussing and there was sort of a stalemate cos there was silence and the rest of compclubbers like dunno wat to do. and they looked v bored and sheng they all were like saying why the juniors so UNENTHU but i replied that i was also like that in sec 1..
anw we finally started some games.. which were quite lame. some juniors gave us some cao bin, or jus looked cold, and one even said "lame" or sth!! gosh. quite demoralizing esp for sab and sheng. anyway they enjoyed the treasure hunt (our brainchild. biang cew they all hide the clues until so hard to find but the rest did in the end, diao) and princess diaries movie on the first day. I also learnt how to play murderer(the ppl beside me r always murderers), double wacko etc.
Seriously we shld be renamed MOVIES CLUB. We like to watch movies so much. 2nd they watched Howl's moving castle (peili today tell me it's for home distriubution, not supposed to show publicly) which i brought. it shld b better than diaries i suppose.
Then after delicious lunch of chicken chop, prefects took over! haha and went to host games like handicap and stimulation game.
handicap was so friggin tiring. i had to carry a 25 kg load [sec 1 jnr bridgette] from hall to class.. biang and the staircases were blocked and we had to walk here and there. and i was sweatin like mad, bridgette clung onto my back for dear life; i fear for her nose which might have caught some pungent whiffs.
then we finally made it back to class after such an exhausting dunno how many mins. so we started playin stimulation game. quite fun. it's political.. but i didnt really join in. jus watch my sec 1 jnrs enthusiastically shouting back answers to the headquarters.. it was rather amusing ..
then aft that the last program was waterbombs. which should be renamed the WASTE WATER GAME.. used so much water to feel this balloons can.. and at the same time dirtied the watercoolers near the canteen entrance.. and there was a lack of balloons, only managed to like throw 2 and then the 4 pails or so were empty! then they started wastin water again by fillin up the pails and wetting others.. so not environmental-friendly. tsk. but it was quite fun on e whole, but sheng and sab were engaged in a revenge war with ying2.. and i was tryin to revenge on sheng and sab too but to no avail.. and my head was also not feelin that well.
this camp can also be renamed the WASTE-TIME CAMP.. cos 9-5pm for 2 days jus playing games!! for big exam takers.. not very good. mus feedback ask sec 3 organize!
so aft tt we all trooped home. finally can start on my hol hw!!
wat a loong post. tied my hair today.. was ok. altho mel said what my hair like 猪？！and sheng + kd say my face like v thin... i tink my prev hair too PONG。今晚有campus但要去读书了.

So busy. wanted to blog about chem fragrance/polymer workshop, compclub camp but alot of homework is restricting me!! >:( wabiang.. i planned to use my one wk march hols to catch up on my work but the comp club camp used up much of my time!! i still got alot of hw haven do (oh no the physics piling higher and higher) so can't blog so sad!
i got my first perfume : got one drop of lavender and ginger essence. feels like making/choosing wands.. the essence very unique one like the wands got waht one horsehair, unicorn hair, phoenix feather unique to owner. just like the fragrance :D oh and i like my polymer paperweight lots! at first thought it will look quite ugly but it turned out to be rather nice. :D whee kun's one very simple, looks so healthy like vegetables.. haha. edna took photos of our paperweights and i heard mrs chan said it might be put up on the school web. REALLY? must go check out ha. yep, i added too little polymer or whatever, and the "ingredients" sticking out, but makes it look rather unique in my opinion.
sing poly so nice offer us food sommore but melissa reminded me that we paid $26 for this workshop. so there.
better go now. ttyl bout camp nxt time (:

p/s: I really like Adriano's rendition of 自由. used to dislike him in the past cause he looks so blur like don understand chinese! but i quite like him now. :D and is teresa like gg to win for girls? guys will be quite hard to determine winner. hmm.
